Known for his particular interest in neo-modern and contemporary design, Alessandro Mendini has amassed much recognition as a designer, architect and image consultant for many corporations creating many objects, furniture and interior installations. Mendini describes his mission as one “to communicate through my objects and work in general, trying to say things that encourage people to deepen meditation and spirituality.” In his Asta line of flatware, Mendini has related to the masses through this simple, uncluttered design. While displaying delicate curvaceous qualities mixed with sharp contrasting edges, these pieces are a subtle mix of styles. Made of mirror polished 18/10 stainless steel, the "Asta" Cutlery Set completes a table setting without overpowering it, and are simple and elegant enough for any dining space.
