Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, brothers from Milan, unified their design aspirations immediately after the Second World War, focusing mainly on city planning, architecture and particularly on design. Pier and Achille received various acknowledgements such as the permanent exhibition of six of their works at the Museum of Modern Art of New York and winning five editions of the Compasso d'Oro award.
Continuing their spectacular design legacy they have reinvented many items for Alessi and the Orseggi Glassware Collection is another example of such design. Originally designed in 1965 for the "La Casa Abitata" exhibition in Florence, this collection has been redesigned for modern consumers. The tumbler and glasses are truly elegant pieces of crystal glassware that are suitable for any home and dining setting.
