I paid full price for a defective item. Cookware Essentials and Aroma not willing to take responsibility. Customer is responsible for the shipping when an item is sent back for inspection and repair. After repair, same unit is sent back, and again the shipping is the customer's responsibility. Both companies will not replace the defective item, PERIOD. The bottom line is: a defective item will be fixed, which becomes a refurbished item with a full price tag.
