15 year old Theatre II stovetop popper is much better: pops just as well and easy on/off lid for washing.

Popcorn is a great snack. It fills you up quickly.
This popper is great- it has a paddle that turns the corn on the bottom so it all pops evenly with out the use of much oil but it is difficult to clean and in a small kitchen - hard to store. If you like the finished product then you put up with minor inconveniences. Try reading the labels on premixed popcorn packets.

I bought this popper to replace one that I used until it fell apart from overuse. It pops the corn without burning it because you're constantly stirring the bottom of the pan. The popcorn comes out nice and light. Great product!

This popcorn popper was hard to use. The handle would not turn easy and would catch on bottom of pan. I used it once and tried to return it to food slicer company but they refused to take it back because I used it one time. Don't waste your money.

I was very disappointed in the fit and cleanup. It's not your fault, it's my mistake. It will sit in the box in my garage until I through it away. [...]One of the problems is that it is just for 2 of us. This product is for larger parties.

I have had my Back To Basics popper for several years and it is still in great shape and makes wonderful popcorn. I just purchased another for my parents as their whirly popper has worn out. The other brand is much lighter weight and I don't think it is as durable as this one.
