The Maestro Conical Burr Grinder is one of the most eye pleasing grinders on the market, but the beauty isn’t skin deep. Inside is the heart of a great grinder that can grind coffee beans for any style of coffee, whether it is an espresso machine, drip coffee maker, or press pot. This is a reliable grinder which includes a 240 watt DC motor and a special gear reduction feature which slows the spinning of the burr to 450 RPMs to reduce heat, noise, and static generation in the grinder. It also ensures that the beans feed smoothly into the burrs.

Comments about Baratza Maestro Coffee Grinder:
I use this grinder everyday it is a great machine for those just getting into making their own espresso. It could use a timer so I don't grind too much or too little coffee, but other than that it works great.

Comments about Baratza Maestro Coffee Grinder:
All in all, the grinder is great! The grinds are consistent, the anti-static hopper is very convenient. The grinding noise is not that bad, I know there are others that think it's too loud. I've heard louder from other grinders. The only drawback when we use it is that the finest grind setting isn't fine enough. We drink a lot of espresso and we find that our espressos could be better if the grounds were finer. For French Press coffee the grinder is perfect.

Comments about Baratza Maestro Coffee Grinder:
While the grinder does everything else it says it will ie: good consistant grind, no static electricity to make grounds fly all over, pretty clean operation, it is about as loud as my old blade grinder except at a much lower pitch due to the DC motor speed. Don't expect to grind in the morning and not wake someone up! Also, it does not shut itself off like some grinders, but since I use a press the grind quality was more important. I like everything else about it though
