This pot exceeded my expectations when it arrived! I'd been eyeing a similar pot in the Anolon Advanced line for some time with the thought that it would be perfect for boiling potatoes and reheating soups, but had hesitated because the Anolon pot was the same size as another pot I own and a little too small for the uses I had in mind. Also, without a helper handle, I was concerned that the Analon pot would be difficult to manuever when full of liquid. I found this Calphalon pot while browsing the internet and was surprised I'd never seen it before. It had all the features I was seeking and it was the perfect size for the uses I had in mind! When it arrived, I was impressed by the quality and tried it out that night by boiling potatoes for mashed potatoes. It worked perfectly! The see-through lid, the helper handle and the pour spouts functioned just as I'd hoped they would!
