Comments about Calphalon Can Opener:

Absolutely the very best can opener I have ever used - I find myself actually going out of my way to use it - i.e. buying non-flip-top cans (which of course are cheaper anyway). This thing is smooth and effortless to use, even for my tired old hands. I have had numerous can-openers and trust me, not a one, even very high-priced ones, can hold a candle to this one!!\n\nKeeping it clean, shiny and bright takes only a second with a damp cloth, but it could be immersed in soapsuds if you wanted.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
