I only had the chance to use this pot four times before it burned and was damaged beyond repair. The burn occurred in under two minutes, and would not ordinarily destroy a cooking pot.\n\nWith most stainless steel pots you can soak them and scrub off the burn, but when I attempted to scrub the burn off of this pot (with a soft scrubber), the top layer of steel FLAKED OFF. I have never seen anything like this before.\n\nDo not waste your money on this piece of junk! Stick with brands like All-Clad or Le Creuset instead. They are more expensive, but at least you won't have bits of metal flaking off into your food.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
