        This truly excellent grill light has a versatile mounting system, and once affixed to your grill, stays exactly where you point it. The LED lights are bright white, and beat the heck out of trying to hold a flashlight in one hand while basting/turning food with the other.
        The light unit itself can be separated from the clamp by a slide-lock connector, meaning you can leave the clamp in place and remove the light until needed - very handy, and keeps it out of the weather. Due to the construction of my smoker/grill, I permanently attached the connector to the front edge of my grill ledge rather than use the C-clamp provided.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          I bought this to use on my large professional sewing machine and found it pretty easy to clamp on. It's neck moves to whereever I need it to go and the light is just right for those areas I need extra light for. I'm very pleased with this product.
