We were looking for dinnerware that was basically glass to get away from the pottery, stoneware, etc that is often painted with unknown substances. This service is beautiful and so easy to care for. It also takes up much less space in the cabinet that those heavy stoneware pieces.

We use these dishes for everything. We have 3 sets. We use them for dinner parties, daily use and outdoor BBQ. You can dress them up with elegant placemats or table clothes. They are light weight yet very durable. We love the pattern. My only con is that some of the plate edges are not completely smooth, they look alittle warped when all stacked together.

Clean well in the dishwasher. Bought the larger red ring quart corelle bowls separately to fill out the set. Plates are great, mugs are great, small dish is great, larger bowl is what I would call a small bowl, small bowl is what I would call a dessert bowl. They work and fit in the dishwasher well.
