I use the bread maker at least 3 times a week. Usually, I make white bread or pizza dough. It's very practical and consistent. Once, I did make a carrot cake, which wasn't too bad. Though I think the traditional baking is to prefer. I am very happy with it, BUT I have to say that I am not using the recipes provided with the bread maker. I did at the beginning, but they did not work out (so, if you are not happy with it it may be not because of the machine!).

I am not a bread eater, but my husband is and he loves his homemade bread. It comes out evenly baked, mixes well and texture is perfect. Slightly noisey but nothing compared to the others I've owned. Nice looking machine, easy to clean.

I've been wanting to make bread but have no time for kneading, rising, etc. This machine had good reviews and I trust Cuisinart so I bought it. It arrived a few days ago and I already have made a Raisin Pumpernickle and Cinnamon Raisin breads. It's SO easy with the instruction/cookbook that comes with it - after adding ingredients you press a few buttons and everything is done for you from mixing, kneading, baking!! You can add nuts, raisins, choco chips, whatever you like when the signal goes off too. I like the light crust I did on the cinnamon bread, my other half likes the medium crust that I did on his pumpernickle. This machine will get ALOT of use in this house! Anyone can do it if you read the directions. I bought all the ingredients from the King Arthur Flour site so when the bread machine arrived I was ready to go! Absolutely delicious bread the first try!!! Don't pass this one by, its worth every penny.
