Deni has afforded the common household the pleasure of industrial quality crushed ice. The commercial blades give you the lovely small ice some fast foods and restaurants utilize in their huge ice machines. It's just delicious. It's a lovely little addition to my kitchen. Works hard and delivers. Although my husband says a rock crusher would be more quiet...that is the only thing negative about this little hard worker that I can find...it's pretty loud.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      I bought the Ice crusher for drinks but I seldom use it because the ice is almost as small as shaved. so unless you are looking for a snow cone maker this probably is not for you.
