It's an easy pressure cooker to use; I'm not sure I really needed the two pressure options but the price difference was minimal so it may be worth having it.

I like to make chicken soup starting with a large whole chicken and lots of veggies. Everything fits well and it is easy to use. For the price, it's a good value.
Negatives: The instructions warn about the dangers of overfilling, specifying volume limits for certain foods, but the cooker has no volume markings. The instructions call the same parts by different names. There is no clear signal marking when it reaches full pressure so I feel like I'm approximating cooking times.

My mom had a pressure cooker when I was little, and I remember that rattling pressure head. I thought that the pot would explode!! But I have no fears with the Fagor Duo. This pot has saved me precious time without sacrificing great taste. Food comes out tender and delicious, like I've been cooking for hours. It's so easy to use. I usually brown my meat, right in the same pan, add my vegetables seasonings and 1/2 cup of broth, close the lid, bring up to temperature, and in less than an hour I have a wonderful full course meal!!
