I have used this product line for over twenty years. I just replaced my 4Qt sauce pan and was disappointed with the new cover that came with it. It has a hole on the edge of it, I guess it's there to strain out the water if you're boiling or steaming... but it's too big and the food also comes out with it. It also allows the steam to escape when steaming food. I would have preferred the regular cover without the opening or at the very least have been given a choice of covers at the time of purchase. No where on the product description or it's picture does it show that the cover has this opening. For this reason I would only recommend this product to a friend only after I warned them of the new cover it comes with. Other than the cover issue I Love the sauce pan and the rest of the product line.[...]
