I often use these pans - they heat quickly and take the place of a saucepan for certain uses. Of course they are not non-stick so I would not use them for foods that could stick - say, scrambled eggs. I use my non-stick electric frypan for foods that could stick. \n\nI am very impressed with the "heft" of these pans - for the money, they are excellent quality, much higher quality than I expected.
