HotSpot Made by Lamson & Goodnow, HotSpot features an array of 100% silicone kitchen and dinnerware products from oven mitts to collapsible colanders. Silicone is the future of kitchenware because it is nonstick, skid and slip resistant, super flexible, dishwasher safe and heat resistant up to 675 degrees! Made from medical-grade, FDA approved silicone, HotSpot products will last a lifetime.

In 1834, Silas Lamson started Lamson & Goodnow in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts to produce his invention, the curved scythe snath which had a dramatic impact on agriculture.

In 1837, his two sons, Ebenezer and Nathaniel Lamson, together with partner Abel Goodnow, became interested in making knives and started the business that has retained the names of Lamson & Goodnow from that time to the present. Experienced cutlery workers were recruited from both Sheffield, England and Solingen Germany, Europe's two great champions of quality cutlery. Descendants of those workers are still employed by the company.

Today, Lamson & Goodnow cutlery is still handcrafted in Shelburne Falls by American workers, and is the oldest cutlery manufacturer in the United States. They have made a few changes over the years. Today, hi-tech lasers, robots, and grinding equipment help our skilled craftsmen turn out their fine cutlery. They're proud to say that after 170 years later, they still produce the finest cutlery and kitchen tools made in America. More on HotSpot...
