This blender is simple and powerful. It doesn't have a lot of buttons like most blenders -- and most of those never do anything anyway. It works quickly and is very easy to use.

I use this blender to make smoothies, and various other tasks. It seems to mix well, however it leaves chunks of frozen strawberries in my banana-strawberry smoothies unless it's run a very long time. Hot liquids erupt from the cover unless its less than 1/3rd full.

Very disappointed with blender - it broke after 1 month I emailed Cookware who gave me a link to the French division of Kalorik and I have heard nothing back from them. The unit has a very cheap rubber piece that is the core of the blending. I would not recommend this unit at all and am disappointed in Cookware in that the year warranty means nothing since I needed to contact another company which ignored my problem so in essence the warranty is only 1 month after purchase and this unit lasted perhaps 1 1/2 months.

I use it basically to make smoothies and am more than satisfied. It is also relatively quiet, which I've heard can be a problem with some of the more expensive blenders out there.

Very nice blender. Would like additional controls. Ice crushing was not as fine as I would like for drinks. Bought this at the recommendation of America's Test Kitchen and was not disappointed.

I read about this blender in Cooks Illustrated. It was listed as a best buy and was about [$] less than the other recommended one. I have been utterly pleased with the performance. It chops ice and makes frozen drinks with ease. It's also very easy to clean. It also has a glass pitcher where now many of the blenders have a plastic one.

Great for soups, smoothies, hummus, etc. The only thing I don't like is the on/off/speed switch, which I find a little awkward to use.
