I made a pork roast on the slow cooker setting and it was not done in the time on the recipe. I would recommend timing just like your regular crock pot would call for. Was not a huge problem, because I switched it to pressure cook to finish faster.

I really do like the ease of using the cooker. It makes the tough meat tenderer. The only thing is that it is so pretty, I would like to leave it on the counter top, but living in an RV does not allow that.

Initially I was looking for just a pressure cooker, but came across the "3-in-1" appliance of the pressure cooker/slow cooker/steamer combination. I am extremely pleased with the versitility of this product and have used the pressure cooker and slow cooker several times with excellent results! The meals are healthy; the pressure cooker is fast; the slow cooker turns tough cuts of meat into unbelievably tender and savory meals and clean up is easy. All this in one appliance! The slow cooker cooks on 1 temperature, no "high" or "low" setting. This has been the only shortfall I've come across. As I've only had the product about a month I cannot comment on the durability. At this point, my impression is "a great product".
