only thing it would not chop well was roma tomatoes,but none of the choppers seem to be able to handle this chore.

Initially left the beautiful thing on the counter; reading the instructions was frightening. Weeks passed and I finally took a deep breath and was able to disassemble the thing and give it its required initial washing. The blades must be air dried. When ready to use its a dream...but requires care in cleaning and reassembly. Not for the ADHD afflicted or easy bleeders. If you have OCD, you will love attending to it and will be rewarded by as-advertised great performance.

Use it to chop all my vegetables. Worked great for making salsa this summer. Chopped my tomatoes with it. Really a time saver.
