      Comments about SPT Portable Ice Maker:

      Purchased this ice maker for a sailboat for long trips where we would not be able to buy bags of ice. It starts popping out ice in no time flat.
      You must be aware that it is ONLY an ice maker, once it makes ice and fills up it's bin you must empty it into a freezer or cooler, or the ice will melt. But all these little ice makers work just like that. This one is quite, it pumps out more ice for the money than any other machine. It is not a proffesional machine though. It can only keep up enough ice for a party of 10 people all who are drinking. I wish my freezers ice-maker was half as fast as this one!

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
