This salt is not processed in any way and contains no chemicals or additives. This salt is not dried or treated when harvested and it retains not only it's natural trace minerals, but also it's moisture. To grind this salt in it's moist state you need a mill with an all ceramic grinding mechanism. To use this salt in a conventional salt mill it must be dried beforehand.
