This stainless steel pot comes with a triple sandwich bottom (stainless steel-aluminum-stainless steel) and has pouring lips and rounded edges. The stainless steel handles are solidly welded on. The 'heart' of the heat conducting bottoms is made of thick aluminum which spreads the heat evenly across the bottom. The splayed saute pan is ideal for reducing sauces, as its small base heats rapidly, while its splayed sides increase surface top, in turn allowing for greater evaporation.
