This water bath canning pot is not what I expected. After 3 uses the lid and wire basket are beginning to rust. It performs it's function well but I don't expect it to last for "many" years.

I use my canner to can fresh tomatoes, tomato sauce, and homemade ketchup! The pint-sized mason jars are a perfect size for this canner and the process could not be easier.

I love this canner - nice weight, big. I have used it mostly for canning. It came with some "spots" - slight flaws in the paint - on the side, not very noticeable and should not impact use or longevity. Also, I use the 8 oz jars for my jam making. When I want to put in more than 7, the rims touch. The good news is that they fit into the rack. Also like the inside finish of the pot. Highly recommend this product.
